Classmate Blog - Mahathi
The Low Angle created by Mahathi is one of my favorite examples of this angle because as he describes it, this angle is used to make the statue look like it has power, and this is exactly how I feel when looking at a statue at such a low angle.
The establishing shot created by Mahathi is also a great example of how to introduce a setting, The establishing shot that he created make me understand that the setting is a highly active library with productive students working together to understand the assignment given to them.
The two shot created by Mahathi is also an amazing example due to the frame of the video being at a perfect angle and because the two characters are very visible to the audience. This two shot helps me understand that these two characters are reading and or studying something of their interest, this also helps me get an understanding of the personality of who the characters are.
Classmate Blog - Dyanna
The Close up Shot created by Dyanna is a well performed version of this shot because it shows the person or characters facial features and what they might feel during a scene. This shot makes me feel some sort of suspense to what the person might be seeing or what they are reacting to.
The Dutch shot is a well established shot that is effective the way Dyanna used it in her video, her Dutch angle made me feel intimidated due to the dramatic angle and how its lower a little bit to establish power.
Finally the Two Shot angle is a great way to show what position two characters are in and Dyanna made a great example on how the perform a Two Shot angle. This shot made me feel like the people are having a great time arm wrestling and are enjoying each others company.
