The movie Pixels is a movie full of editing and transitioning every few so seconds, especially during the opening three minutes of the film. Down below I will list and describe the best example of each edit and transition found in this film  0:21 Short take- This moment in the film is very short ( A blink of an eye and you'll miss it moment) but it does add lots of detail to the story of the film. The first detail being that the teen is riding his bike super fast and performing a trick, this little detail drives the narrative that the kid is in a rush to tell his friend that the arcade has finally opened and is excited to go explore it. The speed is further elaborated with the slight motion blur that takes place during the short take. 0:34 Instert - This insert give the audience a focused shot of the jar of quarters, the reasoning behind it is because the jar of quarters moves the plot forwards since they need quarters to play at the arcade that recently opened up in their town.   The movie that I will be covering for Mise En Scene is the hit horror/Sci-fi film Alien from the year 1979. This film takes place on a commercial space ship that have intercepted a distress signal from another ship, but after finding out why the ship was abandoned in the first place the crew have to find a way to survive a extremely dangerous alien organisms.  The movie's setting mostly takes place in a spaceship and its multiple rooms that are contained inside. In the beginning of the movie the ship has bright white lights and colors to symbolize that despite being in space the crew is at peace. Even when the audience is introduced to the main cast of characters, bright colors are still being used like the color of their shirts ranging from white, light blue, and green once again to symbolize that they have pure intentions of doing their assigned job right as soon as they wake up.  The man protagonist of the film named Ellen Ripley, mostly wears the color white through...
